Valsad City Marathon, now in its 10th edition, is a testament to the dedication and vision of the Valsad Racers Group. For the past decade, We have been at the forefront of organizing marathons, cyclotrons, and various sports and health-related events in Valsad. These efforts have paved the way for larger community-driven events, encouraging the people of Valsad and surrounding areas to actively participate in running, cycling, and other outdoor activities. The goal of the group is to continue promoting a healthy lifestyle through running, cycling, swimming, and similar pursuits, fostering a vibrant and active community in Valsad and beyond.

TERMS & CONDITIONS / OTHER DETAILS

1. Please choose the event category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-transferable and cannot be modified. Provide us with a phone number and email ID/mobile no that you can access regularly since this will be our primary means of communication during the run-up to the event.

2. The minimum age for participation for 42 KM is 18 Years, 21 KM is 16 years, and for 10 KM is 12 years. for 5 KM is 10 years. If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent/guardian of the child and that he/she has my permission to take part in the event. I further concur that all rules shall apply to him/her as if he were a major.

3. Users of mail services that offer filtering/blocking of messages from unknown mail addresses should add this mail id valsadracer@gmail.com/info@brandcircusevents.com to their address list.

4. We will be sending regular updates to the mobile number you have provided in the registration form. This should not be treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk SMS provider

5. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.

6. Please fill out only those fields that are necessary for mailing purposes. Do not provide redundant data in multiple fields lie., do not list the same data for city, province, and country, as this will only complicate our ability to contact you. if necessary

7. You know that long-distance running is an extreme sport and can injure the body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the Valsad City Marathon and do not hold the organizing committee or any of its members or entities responsible for any injury or accident.

8. You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.

9. You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effect of the weather, including high heat or humidity, Traffic, and the condition of the road. arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with the public event.

10. You agree that Valsad City Marathon/VALSAD RACERS GROUP or Any other agencies associated with Marathon shall not be liable for any loss, death, damages, illness, or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.

11. You agree to abide by the instructions provided by organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety. You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race organizers the medical staff or the aid station volunteers

12. You confirm that your name and media recording was taken during your participation and may be used to publicize the event.

13. You may acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by Valsad City Marathon or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion, and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.

14. You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents, or threats on the day, any of the force major or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event.

15. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. In case if event gets postponed, the registration fee paid by you for participation will be adjusted toward your participation on a new date.

16. Runners are recommended to stay off the course beyond the cut-off time considering the safety and traffic regulation

17. For any reason if you cannot turn up on race day, no refund of any form will be given.

18. Participants must personally appear to collect the running Bibs. Bibs can be distributed in absentee with the written consent of the registered runners.

19. Kindly share your WhatsApp number for further communication/Event-related updates.

20. Race day images of all participants will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participants are found not wearing the running number BIB allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that BIB will be disqualified from the race.

21. A minimum of 10 participants is needed in a category to award 3 winners. If there are 7 participants, only 2 winners can be declared. Similarly, a category with 4 participants will have only 1 winner.
