URM is organizing the 6th Edition of Dwarka Half Marathon ,”Run For Honk Free Dwarka “ on Sunday ,4th August 2024 URM is organizing this event with a view to create awareness about the ill-effects of noise pollution and to promote judicious use of horn to ensure “Honk Free Dwarka.”

It is well known that high noise levels can contribute to cardiovascular effects in humans. In animals, noise can increase the risk of death by altering predator or prey detection and avoidance, interfere with reproduction and navigation, and contribute to permanent hearing loss. According to the World Health Organization, children are especially vulnerable to noise, and the effects that noise has on children may be permanent. Noise poses a serious threat to a child’s physical and psychological health, and may negatively interfere with a child's learning and behavior.

Universal Runners Marathon & The Earth Saviour's has taken the initiative to run for Honk Free Dwarka across Delhi & NCR .Together let’s build a Honk free and healthy environment for our city.
