# ABOUT THE EVENT

The *Udhampur Half Marathon 2026 – Edition 01* is a fitness movement aimed at inspiring people to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.

This event is organised with the mission:

* To inculcate fitness among people.

* To encourage regular exercise and healthy living

* To spread awareness about physical and mental well-being

* To motivate youth and citizens to stay away from bad habits and support the cause of *Nasha Mukti (Drug-Free Society)*

Whether you are a seasoned runner, a beginner, a walker, or someone taking the first step towards fitness — this event welcomes everyone.

# TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Participants must register only through the official registration platform.

2. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

3. Participants must carry a valid photo ID during bib collection.

4. Organisers reserve the right to modify the route, timing, or event format in case of unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns.

5. Participants are advised to undergo proper medical check-up before participating in the event.

6. The organiser will not be responsible for any injury, illness, accident, loss, or theft during the event.

7. Participants below 18 years should register with parental/guardian consent.

8. Bib swapping or unauthorized participation will lead to disqualification.

9. Participants must follow instructions given by race officials, volunteers, and law enforcement authorities.

10. Timed category results will be based on electronic timing records wherever applicable.

11. The decision of race organisers will be final in all matters related to the event.
