Registration

- Where will "The Run" Marathon be conducted in Salem ?

The Run Marathon will be conducted in Dharan nursing college,Panamaruthupatti, Salem - 636204 on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

- How can I register for the Run 2024 ?

Registration for the event is only through the website https://dharan.therun.in/

If you belong to a group of over 5 runners, you may register as a group. For more details and bulk bookings, please contact us through Whatsapp or phone on

- What is the minimum age for Registering?

Only 14 years & above are allowed to compete.

Every runner should check with their Family doctor before registering for the race.

- How do I pay for the event ?

Payment for registrations can be made through credit/debit cards, online bank transfer and through UPI.

- How much is the amount to be paid for registration ?

21.1Km - Rs. 600 | 10Km - Rs. 400 | 6Km - Rs. 250.

All categories are entitled to a Finisher's Medal and Certificate.

- Do I receive any acknowledgement after registering ?

As soon as the payment is received, your entry would be sent to your registered e-mail address and also you can log in the same in our website.

 - I have made the payment, but confirmation email has not yet been received !

It can be one of two reasons:

There is a possibility that the confirmation e-mail is in your junk mailbox/spam folder due to how the settings are configured in your e-mail provider’s settings.

Sometimes, there may be a delay between the payment being made by yourself and the information reaching us, due to delays with the payment gateway. If the delay is more than a few hours,please contact us through phone or whatsapp on +91 9514989990 and we will connect with you.

Can I change the Race category ?

No, You can't change the the Race category after registration.

Can I cancel or transfer the Registration ?

We do understand that unforeseen circumstances might force you to withdraw from the race or you may want to transfer the registration. The amount paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances .

Registrations are non - cancelable.

Registrations are not transferable.

What will I get after registering for the marathon?

A running number bib (without which you will not be allowed on the course) with an electronic timing chip

 A race T-shirt

 A Goodie bag

A finisher’s medal and certificate

Hearty breakfast. 

On race day you can also expect baggage handling, on-course hydration, medical support, and of course a great running experience.

Can someone else collect the Bib and race kit on my behalf?

Yes, you can have a friend/colleague/family member collect the bib and Marathon kit on your behalf.

However, the representative needs to produce the QR Code.

Can I collect the Race Kit on the race day?

No, the bib and the race kit needs to be collected Prior to the event .

What is the Last Date for Registering ?

The last date for registration is 10th October 2024 or earlier if the targeted number of registrations is achieved.
