We “Vizag Runners Society” a non profit organisation founded in 2014 as a running group and registered in 2021, has been organizing the “VIZAG MARATHON” since 2022 to create awareness on health and fitness in the community.
A three tier approach of support training and events across the year has established the Society of runners for runners by runners.
The Vizag Marathon has been a natural step in the journey of VRS. The result is 4500+ runners in the year one, 6000+ in the year two and 8000+ participants in the third edition.
We are adding 20 milers (32K) along with 21,10 & 5K category in the upcoming 4th Edition of Vizag Marathon. A scenic route with unforgettable beauty of the hills and sea, Efficient BIB Expo, Runners safety measures with professional medical AID, Buzzing Race day atmosphere, Branded T-Shirt and a hot breakfast has been some of the sailient features of the event that has been appreciated by both beginners and experienced runners
