Pune FLO Half Marathon is in its 5th Edition, a run for women empowerment. The women of FICCI FLO are doing a fund raiser via the Marathon to skill, educate, support women initiatives and causes. The theme for this year is Urban to Rural with the motto to Empower, Enrich, Engage and Employ women from all stratas of the society.
Over the last few months we have been busy in carrying out activities for women in the field of agriculture, social welfare, assistance to senior citizens and health camps. Funds collected from this Marathon will be utilized :
1. To empower women in the field of Cluster farming
2. Support to widowed women farmers
3. Skilling young girls for employment and financial independence
4. Supporting senior citizens
