Patnitop Hill Marathon 2021 - 1 Edition

The Seasons Play & Ironman Kapil Arora with Support Partner Jammu Hill's Sports Club is very happy and proud to announce the 1st edition of  Beautiful Patnitop Hill Marathon.

Patnitop: By far the most popular of J&K’s hill resorts is a hilltop tourist location in Udhampur, situated on a plateau in the Shiwalik belt of the Himalayas, Patnitop sits at an altitude of 2024 metres. The river Chenab flows in close proximity to this location. It comprises several meadows enveloped by thick forests of Deodar(Cedar) and Kail(Blue Pine) trees, and affords peaceful walks amidst conifer groves, beautiful spots for enjoyable picnics and breath taking views of the Chenab basin and the Pir Panjal range beyond. For solace one can visit the beautifully located Nag Mandir at Karlah village.

Minimum Age: All athletes must be 18 or older on race day. (10 years to be minimum for 5K)

RACE TIMINGS-

Race– Start Time– Cut off Timings
Full Marathon(42.2k)– Starts at -05:00 hrs 7:30 hrs (8:00 hrs)*
30K - Starts at -06:00 hrs 05:00 hrs (5:30 hrs)*
Half Marathon(21.1k)- Starts at -06:30 hrs 03:30 hrs
10K–starts at 07:00 hrs – 02:00 hrs
5 K – starts at 7:30 hrs – 01:00 hr
*Timings indicated with an asterisk are the timings which are allowed to a veteran category runner.

RACE COURSE & AID STATIONS:- Patnitop Hill Marathon - Patnitop is one of the toughest trails in India.
42.2K – 3 ITRA Points – Loop of 21.1K Elevation Gain 4800 mtr.
30K – 2 ITRA Points – Loop of 10.5K and U Turn 5K Elevation Gain 3600 mtr.
21.1K – 1 ITRA Points – Going till 10.5K and turn back on the race route - Elevation Gain 2400 mtr.
10K – Going till 5K and turn back on the race route.

Aid Stations will be at every 5K.

RACE EXPO & BRIEFING-
On 25th June, 2021 i.e, Friday at 15:00 hrs – 22:00 hrs at Resort Trinetar (Our Hospitality Partner) participants can collect their bib along with the goodie bags there at the race expo and 22:00 hrs onwards we’ll talk about the race course, rules and regulations, conditions and a Q/A session which would be followed by crab loading.
