Please find below the Important Details for 7th NFL Nangal Half Marathon 2024:
 

BIB EXPO DETAILS:-
 

Date:- Saturday, March 16th 2024

Timing:- 11:00 AM – 06.00 PM 

Venue:- NFL Stadium, Naya Nangal, Punjab, India

Important Instructions:-
 

 a. To collect your Kit, show a soft copy of confirmation mail at the BIB Counter.
 

 b. Those who cannot come to collect their BIB may send someone to collect on their behalf along with a written authorisation and confirmation mail to the participant. 
 

 c. We encourage you to visit the Expo to check out the Route Map, Start and Finish Venue and to meet pacers and fellow runners. 
 

 d. Please carry any Government Approved ID Card as a proof of "Date of Birth" and Identity.

NOTE:- BIB and Race Kit will not be provided on Race Day.

05.15 AM: Assembly & Warm up for 05KM, 10KM & Half Marathon (21KM)

 
05.30 AM: Flag off Half Marathon (21KM)

 
05.45 AM: Flag off 10KM Run

 
06.00 AM: Flag off 05KM Run

 
07.30 AM onwards: Hot South Indian Breakfast 

 
11.00 AM: Prize Distribution 

 
Event Advisory:-

 1) Runners are requested to bring along their registration Ticket/E-mail at the time of Entry into Stadium and also during BIB & Race Kit collection. 

 2) Please carry any Government Approved ID Card as a proof of "Date of Birth" and Identity.

 3) Cooperation of all is solicited for success of this event.

 4) Gates for the event will close within 30 minutes after flag-off and no participant shall be allowed to start the race post the 30- minute mark.

Experience a unique route that combines zigzag paths, hills, forests, riverside scenery, and wetlands—a perfect blend for a memorable run. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Shivalik Hills and the soothing sounds of singing birds in the Nangal Wetland, home to over 40,000 migratory birds. Save the date and immerse yourself in this extraordinary event.

About the Route:

The running rout is a rare blend of zigzag – up and downhill- forests- riverside-wetland-birds habitat. Enjoy nature while running on a beautiful route passing through the Shivalik Hills and along the Sutlej River.

Feel your deepest self during spectacular sunrise while running and also listen to the singing birds, chirping pleasant morning music, while passing through the Nangal Wetland the winter home for more than 40000 migratory birds.

Run Categories:

5 KM | 10 KM | HALF MARATHON (21 KM)

Age Categories in each Run:

1) 5 KM (Non timed chip) - Men & Women - i) up to 35 years ii) 35 to 50 years iii) 50 & Above  

2) 10 KM (Timing chip) - Men & Women - i) up to 30 years ii) 30 to 45 years iii) 45 to 55 years iv) 55 to 65 v) 65 & Above

3) HALF MARATHON (21 KM) (Timing chip) - Men & Women - i) up to 30 years ii) 30 to 45 years iii) 45 to 55 years iv) 55 to 65 v) 65 & Above

For Divyang Category (Offline Registration only)

2.1 KM (Non timed chip)   i) up to  40 ii) 40 Years and above

Discounts and Offers: For runners registering before the 25th Feb. 2024, a flat discount of 25% can be availed at the time of registration for individual

40% discount for group registration of 10 and more participants.

We start with warm up exercises / Zumba and close with cool down stretches.
