Mangaluru Blue Run 2026 is more than a running event. It is a movement to celebrate Mangaluru’s beautiful coastal identity and create awareness about protecting the natural resources that sustain our city.

Mangaluru is blessed with two magnificent rivers — Netravati and Gurupura. They flow through our land, support communities, nurture ecosystems and eventually meet the Arabian Sea. These rivers are not merely waterways; they are part of our heritage, our livelihood and our future. Yet, like many natural resources around us, they face growing challenges from pollution, plastic waste and irresponsible human activity.

We are also committed to making the event a zero-plastic-waste and sustainable, eco-friendly run. Because the real finish line isn't at the end of the race. It is a future where our rivers continue to flow clean, our surroundings remain green, and the next generation inherits a city they can be proud of.

Prize Money

All timed category runners (5K, 10K, 21K) will be considered for prize money depending on age group.

5 km Timed run and 5 km Timed run (+inspiration medal upgrade) category will be considered for the same prize money category. Same applies to 10K and 21K categories. No separate prize money for inspiration medal category.

Terms & Conditions

Organizer reserves the right to verify participant age and eligibility anytime.

Entry is confirmed only after full payment.

Entry fees are non-refundable & non-transferable. False information may lead to cancellation.

Event may be postponed/cancelled due to weather, government restrictions, or force majeure. No refund in such cases.

Participants must be medically fit; participation is at own risk.

Organizer can disqualify anyone violating rules or deemed unfit.

Valid ID required for Expo/Kit collection; Bib must be worn on race day for timing, medals & prizes.

Timed runners within cut-off are eligible for medals/prizes (subject to minimum participation). 

If a participant wins a prize in any age category and is found to not belong to that age category, then the participant will not be awarded a prize and they will also not be awarded a prize in their original age category (as per Aadhar/PAN card). The participant will be considered as Disqualified. This is to ensure fair results to all participants. 

Age category is determined by age of the participant as on event date (Nov 8th, 2026). (Completed Age)

Organizer’s decision is final and binding.

Waiver

Participants acknowledge that running involves risks such as injury, illness, accidents, weather exposure, and other unforeseen hazards.

Participants assume full responsibility for their health, safety, and personal belongings during the event.

The Organizer shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage except in cases of proven gross negligence.

Participants confirm they are not under the influence of alcohol or any substance that may impair safe participation.

Participants accept the use of photographs which showcases them, for official purposes only like event posters, social media marketing posters, ads etc.

Participants accept that route changes or safety-related modifications may be made if required.

By registering, participants voluntarily waive all claims arising from participation in the event
