To participate in JBG SHHM 2024, please follow these two simple steps:

1. Pre-Register

• Opens on: 3rd April 2024, 6 AM
• Closes on: 7th April 2024, 6 PM

2. Final Payment and Registration

• Opens on: 10th April 2024, 6 AM
• Closes on: Till Seats are full (First Come First Serve only)

Minimum age for participation in JBG SHHM is 16 years, completed on Race Day 1/09/2024 ( born on or before 01/09/2008)

India's Favorite Half Marathon - JBG SATARA HILL HALF MARATHON (JBG SHHM), is an event that is always on the wishlist of every distance running enthusiast. 
It holds the Guinness World Record for "Most people on a Single Mountain for a run". Held annually in the historic city of Satara, the erstwhile capital of the Maratha Kingdom founded by legendary Warrior King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. 

JBG SHHM has been featured in the Runner’s World "Top 50 Must Do Half Marathons" 3 times in a row, attracting running enthusiasts & elite athletes, not only from India but also from across the globe.

 Our theme for this year is अहं योद्धाऽस्मि (Aham Yoddha Asmi)
a Sanskrit Phrase, meaning I am a Fighter

It is no secret that our society & nation is now facing a huge increase in obesity & related lifestyle diseases like Hypertension, Diabetes, Stroke etc. This is the cause for a  huge national burden in terms of Health and Happiness.
 
Distance Running symbolises the fight against laziness, lethargy, procrastination. Our theme this year highlights the importance of the ongoing struggle against these vices as well as honours the efforts of those who fight against all odds & emerge victorious in various aspects of their personal, professional and social lives.

Runners run to challenge themselves and to improve their lives, inspiring their loved ones and creating a better future for themselves and their nations.

 Let's keep the fighter inside us alive.
