The first edition of the Ficci FLO JKL marathon as envisioned by our founding Chairperson Kr. Ritu Singh ji, is a seed of change and is the beginning of a movement carried forward by a growing community of empowered women. These women share a belief that a healthy family, healthy nation begins with education and the first step in empowerment is taking control of your health, respecting yourself, understanding and celebrating the values you bring to both your family and society in general.She envisions the creation of “Vriddhi” our girl child mascot of FICCI FLO JKL to be a well educated, healthy and computer savvy, independent, resourceful and capable women of tomorrow.It is our endeavour to start right at the grassroots and empower girl children across villages in Jammu by honing their computer skills and making them computer savvy and literate.We would request all of you to help us raise funds to empower and strengthen the Girl Child in our rural areas as India resides in these areas and giving them strength helps in building our Nation.We envision our Vriddhi as a Digital Beti who believes “ Digital Beti ka hai yeh naara, Ujjwal kal ab hai hamara.”
