2. Duathlon Category: (16 yrs - Above)

    (2.5K Run – 12K Ride – 2.5K Run)    

    Duathlon Category Explained:

• The participants have to reach the venue around 30 minutes prior to start time and park their Cycles at their designated place in the transition area. The designated places will be marked with the Bib Number where the cycles and other gear can be kept.
• At the start of the event, participants will first Run the distance of 2.5K and finish at the venue.
• They move to the transition area, pick up the cycle and start to complete the 12K Ride to finish at the venue.
•  After parking the cycle at their designated place in the transition area, they have to Run 2.5K in the same route as they did in the 1 st lap and complete the distance. The total time taken from flag off of 1st Lap of 2.5K upto Finish of 2 nd Lap of 2.5K with ride of 12K in between will be the total time recorded for each of the participant.
• The route for the Run and Ride will be provided and participants have to cover the distance in the same route and cannot deviate to complete the distance in the route of their choice.
•  Participants are advised to reduce the time during transition so as to complete the Run – Ride–Run in best time possible as time is calculated from Start to Finish.
•  Participants cannot be assisted by any of their family, friends or others during transition at the venue and if found taking assistance, will be disqualified from the event.

Flag off Timings:

•  10K Run: 6.05 am
•  5K Run / Walk & 5K Run - Kids: 6.15 am
•  Duathlon: 6.20 am

Kindly Note:

1. Registrations can also be closed earlier, if the targeted numbers of participants are received

    well before 25th April, 2021. If registrations are closed earlier than 25th April, 2021, interested

     participants can choose to register to participate in the Virtual Edition of the event.

• Run & Ride Duo Category Explained:
•  Participants can choose the Run Ride Distances they plan to complete. For Example: Run: 10K / Ride:10K OR Run: 5K / Ride: 5K OR Run: 21.1K / Ride: 25K and so on.
•  Participants can complete both Run Ride distances on the same day (1st, 2nd May, 2021) OR they can Choose to Run on 1st May / Ride on 2nd May, 2021 OR Ride on 1st May / Run on 2nd May, 2021.
• Basically participants can complete the Run and Ride Distances on same day or on either of the 2 days of the event which are Saturday, 1st May & Sunday, 2nd May, 2021.

    receive Physical Bib and T-Shirt before 30th April, 2021. Participants from all other cities and

    towns receive the T-Shirt post the event along with the Finisher Medal.

      If the Participants from cities & towns in India other than Bangalore & Mysore register before

     15th April,2021 and willing to bear the Courier charges, can receive the Physical Bib and Event T-

     Shirt before 30th April,2021. (Courier Charges: Rs.80 – Rs.100, depending on the city / town).

What Participants receive:

All participants choosing the Run & Ride Duo category receive the following:

Pre-Event:

I hereby declare, confirm and agree the following:

(i) Information provided by me in this entry form is true and I am solely responsible for its veracity.

(ii) I have fully understood the risk of participating in the marathon / cycling event mentioned in this

application and I am participating as per my own will.

(iii) I am fully aware of the risks involved in participating in this event and i am personally responsible

for my well being and safety.

(iv) I am aware that training and physical fitness are integral requirements for participating in this

event. I hereby state that I am in a good physical shape and have obtained medical clearance from a

registered medical practitioner before participating in this event.

(v) For myself/ourselves and our legal representatives, waive all claims of whatsoever nature against

any and all Sponsors of the event, all political entities, authorities and officials, all Columbia Asia

Hospitals Mysuru Run / Ride event officials, Raadiant Sports officials and all other persons and

entities associated with the event and the directors, employees, agents and representatives of all or

any of the aforementioned including, but not limited to, any claims that might result from me

participating in the event and whether on account of illness, injury, death or otherwise;

(vi) I agree that if I am injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer any detriment whatsoever, I will take

personal responsibility to take medical advice and treatment and the organisers will not be held

responsible for any injury caused or ill health during the run / ride

(vii) In case of any illness or injury caused to me or death suffered by me due to any force majeure

event including but not limited to fire, riots or other civil disturbances, earthquakes, storms, typhoons

or any terrorist act, none of the sponsors of the event or any political entity or authorities and officials

or any of the Columbia Asia Hospitals Mysuru Run / Ride event officials or Raadiant Sports officials or

any persons or entities associated with the event or the directors, employees, agents or

representatives of all or any of the aforementioned shall be held liable by me/my representatives;

(viii) I understand, agree and irrevocably permit Raadiant Sports to share the information given by me

in this application, with all/any entities associated with Columbia Asia Hospitals Mysuru Run / Ride

event, at its own discretion;

(ix) I understand, agree and irrevocably permit Raadiant Sports to use my pictures which may be

photographed on Race Day, for the sole purpose of promoting future events, at its own discretion;

(x) I shall not hold the organisers and all/any of the event sponsors responsible for loss of my entry

form and/or entry fee in transit;

(xi) The Management / Organisation has the right to remove the participant at any time if found that

the applicant has furnished false information.

(xii) Fraud or dishonesty in the performance of the participant the management has the right to

remove such participant.

(xiii) Failure to follow the rules and regulations of the event, the Management / Organisation has the

right to remove such participant.

(xiv) The Participant has no entitlement to any compensation for the injury caused during the event

from the Management / Organisation.

(xv) I will not hold the management/organisation responsible if the event is postponed/cancelled due

to the order of the government / authorities due to any political, social, economic or any other matter

over which the management / organisation have no control.

(xvi) If the event is postponed / cancelled due to a situation beyond the control of the Organisers, the

participant can either participate on the new date or opt for transfer of the registration to the next

Running / Riding event organised by Raadiant Sports.

(xvii) Once the registration is completed, no refund will be made for cancellation of the registration for

any reason or for non-appearance on the event day.

(xviii) I understand and completely accept all the Terms & Conditions as stated above from point (i) to

(xvii).
