Vizag 10k Run

About event content: We would like to inform that HMTV TELUGU NEWS CHANNEL is planning to organize a 10K RUN event on 28.09.2025 on RK BEACH ROAD to mark the occasion of  "WORLD HEART DAY"

The event is to promote physical health, and share how to keep their heart healthy, and about cardiovascular diseases and related issues. The spotlight will be on encouraging people to take time out for a workout and make it an integral part of life. Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the world's biggest killer, wiping out 17.9 million lives every year, while the major cause leading to 31 % of global deaths is due to CVD. Tobacco use, unhealthy diet plans, stressful life, physical inactivity, and abuse of alcohol and cigarettes are some of the triggering factors of CVD.

The event is scheduled between 5:00 am - 9:00 am. And are expecting 5000 runners for both formats (5K &10K). The event flow - warm-up session, exercises, Zumba, run, and prize distribution. We request a free route zone from RK BEACH to LUMBINI PARK, which is 5KM stretch on beach road.

For every 1km, we will arrange one refreshment & medical stall, and we will arrange a total 2nos ambulances on the route.
