The Calcutta Maha Marathon (portathon Edition) 2024

Its a Timed Run for 14K & Non Timed for 7K. Open to all age group & genders.

ALL RUNNERS WILL GET T- SHIRT, MEDAL, REFRESHMENT & many more..

CATEGORIES : OPEN TO ALL , FEMALE, SR CITIZEN, RUN FOR FUN & SPECIAL CATEGORIES.

WINNERS of all Categories to be awarded with attractive cash prize / gift hampers.

Sr Citizen are advised to run only in 7K (Winner to be selected from this category only from 7K)

14K & 7K are only approx distances & not exactly measured values.

Expo of Bibs for 14K (Timed) will be done 2-3 days prior to the event day. Date, Time & Venue of EXPO will be informed in due course. For non timed Runs Expo / Bibs & T Shirt will be distributed on run day at Spot (4:30am to 6:00am).

This is a Charity Run for a Cause organised by WAIA (an NGO) to support its causes. Your Contribution helps us to continue our year long social activities. You can run for any social cause that you support. Run for fitness, to support Education, to support Specially abled , Blinds & Children of Red Light areas, Run to create social awareness against Tobacco / Alcohol / Drug addictions, Run to promote Blood Donation amongst youth and run for many more good reasons.

Tentative Route :

14K : RUN through the Garden Reach (Jayhind Flyover) & grasp the opportunity of running through the heritage & iconic Kolkata Port docks. 

7K : Explore the joy of running through Princep ghat, Ganga River front, Eden gardens, Red Road & Race Course.
