On April 13, 2025, Phulkari Women of Amritsar (WOA), the largest women’s NGO in Amritsar, will host a special running event to raise awareness about cervical cancer. This initiative aims to emphasize the importance of early detection and prevention while encouraging regular screenings.
The funds raised through this run will support awareness campaigns and provide access to screening services for women. Through this event, Phulkari WOA hopes to educate the community and amplify its eight-year-long efforts to eradicate cervical cancer.
