One Level Up Sports is proud to announce the 3rd edition of - SMVD Katra Half Marathon “a divine run”

Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located.

It is located 42 km from the city of Jammu.

Significance –

One of the World’s most popular Holy Shrine The Vaishno Devi Temple is a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. The temple is one of the 108 Shakti Peethas dedicated to Durga, who is worshipped as Vaishno Devi. It is one of the most visited pilgrimage centres of India. Every year millions of visitors visit the temple. The river Chenab flows near this location.

REGISTRATION AND EVENT DETAILS:

Event Name: SMVD Katra Half Marathon 'A Divine Run' –3rd Edition.

Date: Sunday, 07th April, 2024

Minimum Age: All athletes must be 10 or older on race day.

RACE TIMINGS:

Half Marathon 21.097km (Timed Run) - Starts at - 06:00 AM – cut off time – 10 AM.

10Km (Timed Run) –starts at 06:30 AM – Cut off time – 9.00 AM.

5Km (Timed run) – starts at 7:00 AM – Cut off time 8:30 AM.

RACE COURSE & AID STATIONS:

SMVD Katra Half Marathon -

21.097km – Going till 10.5Km and turn back on the race route - Elevation Gain- 320 m.

10Km – Going till 5Km and turn back on the race route – Elevation gain – 200 m

Aid Stations will be at every 5Km.

RACE EXPO & BRIEFING:

On 06th April, Saturday at 12:00 hrs – 19:00 hrs , Place of bib expo will update soon.

Participants can collect their bib along with the goodie bags there at the race expo.

We’ll talk about the race course, rules and regulations, conditions, and a Q/A session.
