Welcome to the Kangra Hills Ultra Marathon! Nestled in the Western Himalayas of Himachal Pradesh, the Kangra Valley offers a breathtaking backdrop for our race. In March, the valley boasts perfect running weather, with clear skies and a gentle breeze. Starting at the historic Kangra Fort, you'll witness the grandeur of this Rajput marvel. Depending on your category, you'll explore the ancient Bagalamukhi Temple and the 8th-century rock-cut Masrur Temples.
Immerse yourself in the valley's heritage at the Bajreshwari Mata Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Pithas dedicated to Goddess Durga. The valley is also home to Guler Village, where the renowned scholar Chandradhar Sharma Guleri wrote his masterpiece, “Usne Kaha Tha.”
