Ainu Kidney Run 2024 - 4 Edition

The 4th Edition of the AINU Kidney Run is being organized by the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), India’s largest single specialty hospital network of Urology & Nephrology, to bring awareness in society about the importance of taking preventive measures and about the effective strategies to identify and manage symptoms that cause suffering.

World Kidney Day is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of our kidneys. The World Kidney Day Steering Committee has declared World Kidney Day 2024 the year of “Kidney Health for All” - Advancing equitable access to care and optimal medication practice.

This has been done to both increase education and awareness about effective symptom management and patient empowerment, with the ultimate goal of encouraging life participation. Whilst effective measures to prevent kidney disease and its progression are important, patients with kidney disease – including those who depend on dialysis and transplantation – and their care partners should also feel supported, especially during pandemics and other challenging periods, by the concerted efforts of kidney care communities.

Winners under the following age categories will win Mementos for both 10K & 5K Runs

• Under 18
• 18-34
• 35-50
• 51+ years

We have exciting prizes for 10K & 5K - Open Category Male & Female. They will be announced soon.

The event will feature a special Doctors 5K Run, exclusively flagged off to pay tribute to the medical fraternity during the event. We invite all doctors and Medicos to participate in the run and spread awareness about Kidney health.
