Endurance in the Footsteps of History

Some races begin at a start line.

The Fort Ultra begins at a palace.

On 06 February 2027, before sunrise, the gates of the iconic City Palace, Udaipur will witness the flag-off of an endurance challenge unlike a conventional road race. At 04:00 AM, runners will leave the heart of Mewar and enter a landscape where history, endurance and the warrior spirit have shared the same soil for centuries.

The Fort Ultra features three distances, each leading to an iconic historic destination:

50 KM — Haldighati March

100 KM — Udaipur Ultra

100 MILES — Chittorgarh Challenge

The 50 KM Haldighati March finishes at the Maharana Pratap Smarak, Haldighati — where the landscape itself carries the memory of one of India's most legendary warriors.

The 100 KM Udaipur Ultra takes the journey further towards Kankarwa Fort, a remarkable expression of Mewar's legacy, hospitality and spirituality. Here, endurance meets the timeless character of Rajasthan.

And then comes the ultimate challenge.

The 100 Miles Chittorgarh Challenge finishes at Chittorgarh Fort, beneath the magnificent Vijay Stambh, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Standing there after 100 miles is not merely reaching a finish line. It is standing in a place where warriors once celebrated victories, where courage was measured in sacrifice, and where the stones themselves seem to remember.

History in textbooks is one thing.

Standing on the same soil is another.

You don't simply read about the battles of Mewar here. You run through their landscape. You feel the climb in your legs, the heat in your skin, the exhaustion in your breath and, eventually, the pride of arriving where generations before you stood.

The soil of Mewar has tasted blood for centuries.

This February, it will taste your sweat too.

As organisers, we will take care of the essentials — hydration, aid stations, medical support, route support and everything required to keep you moving.

Hydration at every 5 KM will be ours.

The blood, sweat and broken toenails will be yours.

Because The Fort Ultra isn't designed to give you a cold start, a predictable route and an ordinary finish.

It is designed to give you a beginning worth remembering and a finish worth suffering for.

And when it comes to hospitality, Mewar has never disappointed mankind.

So, this February, come to Mewar.

Come as a runner.

Leave as an endurance warrior.

For two days, we will stand on the supporting end as organisers.

You will stand on the other side — carrying the responsibility of taking on the distance, the darkness, the fatigue and the history.

Time has changed.

The roads have changed.

The weapons have changed.
