9th Run for Vivekananda - Mumbai Sustainability Run

On occasion of 162nd Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, National Youth Day."A brave, frank, clean-hearted, courageous and aspiring youth is the only foundation on which the future nation can be built"- Swami Vivekananda"

Post-race, each runner will receive a tree sapling as a takeaway, encouraging them to plant it in their own home or community.

All event materials will be eco-friendly—bib numbers printed on recycled paper, reusable race medals made from sustainable materials, and zero plastic cups or waste during the event.

Hydration stations will offer water in reusable containers, and runners will be encouraged to bring their own bottles to reduce plastic waste.

Participants can sign a "Green Pledge" After Run , committing to sustainable practices like reducing plastic use, conserving water, or planting trees.

Upon completing the race, participants receive a certificate with a commitment to continue their sustainable actions in their daily lives.

This is not only a race but a movement to inspire individuals to take part in environmental conservation. By blending physical fitness with sustainability goals, this event can create lasting change and foster a sense of responsibility toward the planet.
