Mutthu Marathon - 23 Edition

Mutthu Marathon started by Konganapuram Foundation and Konganapuram Sports Club as a state level occasion to pay tribute to our valiant precursors. Beginning with 117 members in two categories in 1998, the yearly marathon has developed to 1300+ members lately. Full marathon (SWELECT 42K) was presented on our 13th year in 2010, with corporate sponsorship from Swelect Energy Systems Ltd. (formerly known as Numeric Power Systems Ltd.), Chennai. 

Ducen IT, Chennai, is the sponsor of the half-marathon (DUCEN 21K) race. Any reasonable person would agree that Mutthu Marathon has developed today to be one of the best events for hopeful youthful athletes in and around the district! 

Mutthu Marathon is one of a kind as far as empowering rural sports. Huge numbers of runners in the past have commented that Mutthu Marathon track offers a beguiling encounter. Mutthu Marathon happens every year on the first Sunday of January. So for this year the event will be held on 05th January 2020.
