Technical Details for Cycles

Amateur Race (50 km and 24 km)

• Road Bicycle

  • Drop handlebars only

  • Minimum weight: 6.8 kg

  • Maximum dimensions: 185 cm (L) × 50 cm (W)

  • 700C / 650C wheels with equal size F&R (Minimum 12 spokes)

  • Aero frames & disc brakes allowed

  • Not Allowed / Restrictions: No Time Trial bikes, No bar extensions

• Gravel Bicycle

  • Drop handlebars recommended

  • Tire width: 35–50 mm

  • Relaxed frame geometry

  • 1x or 2x drivetrain

  • Not Allowed / Restrictions: Not permitted for podium positions in MTB category

• Hybrid Bicycle

  • Flat handlebars

  • Tire width: 28–42 mm

  • Relaxed geometry

  • Not Allowed / Restrictions: Aero bars or bar extensions not allowed

Amateur MTB Race (24 km)

• MTB Bicycle

  • Flat or riser handlebars

  • Suspension (front or full) allowed

  • Wheel sizes: 26", 27.5", 29"

  • Minimum tire width: 1.95"

  • Not Allowed / Restrictions: No drop handlebars, Gravel or Road bikes not allowed for podium in MTB category

The above rules are only for riders who wish to participate and race for the winning positions. Cyclists who wish to participate in any distance and time their ride can take part on any cycle (TT Bike, Road Bike, MTB Bike, Gravel Bike, Hybrid Bike).

Disclaimer: Cyclists with bikes other than the ones mentioned above can participate in the race(s) but they will not be considered for Prize Money.
