AQUAFEST 2023 - SWIMATHON & AQUATHLON has been organized by TRI2CHAMP club (T2C).

We have all the permissions from all the required authorities to conduct this event.

One of the very less open water swimming held in India.

1) SWIMATHON Open Elite & Age Group:

Age specification – Athletes must be a minimum of 9 years.

• Swim - 750m, 1000m, 2000m, 3000m & 5000m

2) PARA ATHLETE & SPECAL NEEDS Swim

• 1000m & 2000m

3) AQUATHLON ITF OPEN: ITF National ranking and TN State Aquathlon Championships

Age specification – Athletes must be a minimum of 15 years Includes.

• Aqua Sprint - 750 m swim - 5 km Run
• Aqua classic - 1500 m swim - 10 km Run

AQUA Festival will bring together swimming, everyone is invited to join in fun swimming races,

Team TRI2CHAMP, Welcoming Everyone we cordially invite you to our very biggest swimming event. AQUAFEST - SWIMATHON & AQUATHLON Chennai race venue allows us to deliver a first-class event experience to wrap up the 2023 season. During your journey on the swim course, you will enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over blue flag beach. The run course is a very spectator friendly. We know you've overcome obstacles and accomplished milestones to get to the starting line, and we will do everything possible to help you achieve your goals on race day.

TRI2CHAMP Club team has done a lot of research over the years and finalized some very unique and thrilling routes for various Swimming events to be conducted in the near future. Most of these routes are significantly through the mountains and forest.

USP of the event and facilities provided to the participants:

• 6th May Practice Swim; Athletes check in & Bib collection.
• 7th May Race Day.
• Swimming safety's: Best Lifeguard team with Open water Safety (Bay of life) & (Head coach Selvam team)
• Race is open from age 9 to maximum.
• Specific transition to keep run safe one day prior to event.
• One of the very few open water swimming events in India
• This race will follow international standards.
• Medical facility will be provided on course and at finish.
• Physiotherapy sessions will be held for participant's post-race.

• Proper hydration and nutrition stations on course for athletes
• Traffic controlled event for aquathlon
• Good quality t-shirts for participants & Goody bags.
• Finisher medal to participant who finishes the race in cutoff time.
• Finisher medal to All other participant who finish in all categories (Even after cut-off Time with limited extra hours) + even with age category.

• Trophy will be awarded to winners in age group category.
• Post race refreshments will be given to participants.
• Around 100+ volunteers will be hired for the event (More than 40+ Safety lifeguards for safety swim)
