Aattral Cyclothon 2022 - (20KM)
All registered participants are entitled to receive:
- Official Aattral Cyclothon T-Shirt
- An official BIB (Not a chip timed event - RFID Tag NOT included)
- Water and refreshments along the course.
- Medical Support.
- Post-event refreshments Medal Participation certificate / Finisher certificate (If completed within cut off time)
Aattral means energy. Aattral is a word derived from Tamil language. Life is impossible without energy and Energy is everything.
Aattral cyclothon is an event that unites all cyclists for a good cause and incorporates sportsmanship and companionship. This time the event was conceptualized with the vision to support the Traditional Martial Art (Silambam).
This on-road cyclothon is aimed to support all Silambam Aasaans (Masters) and Silambam players who are financially struggling, as there is no enough support or sponsor for Silambam Martial Art. Also, to help students who could not afford to pay for school during covid period.
