- Event dates – 13 & 14th May 2023

- Venue – Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur, Chennai
- Multisport Type - Triathlon (Swim, Cycle, Run)
- DISTANCE - Super Sprint Triathlon - 300M Swim, 7Km Cycle, 2km Run
- AGE GROUP - Junior (15, 16 & 17), Senior (18+)
- Age specification – Athletes must be a minimum of 15 years
- Registration close – 1st May 2023
- Entry fee – Rs. 500
Prize money – No Prize money
Finisher medal - All finishers will be given a
finisher medal.
Complimentary race kit - T-shirts, hydration gels, swim cap, etc. can be collected at the time of reporting (13th May).
Race kit – Swim cap, Bib, and hydration gel will be provided
Swim - Dive start, swimming will be in a lake inside Sri
Ramachandra Medical College, Porur, Chennai. Max depth of 13 ft, still water, 50m + 125M + 125m
Cycle - Bike inside the campus internal road, 3.5km circuit
x 2 laps
Running - 2km run inside the campus internal road.
PTS3 - Significant impairments. In both bike and run segments, amputee athletes may use approved prosthesis or other supportive devices. Includes athletes with comparable activity limitation and an impairment of, but not limited to, limb deficiency, hypertonia, ataxia and or athetosis, impaired muscle power or range of movement.
A significant degree of activity limitation, spastic paralysis of one side, double below knee amputation,
impaired arm and legs, spastic hemiplegia, C.P. combined affected upper and lower limbs such as loss of muscle power in an arm & single below knee amputation.
PTS4 - Moderate impairments. In both bike and run segments, amputee athletes may use approved prostheses or other supportive devices. Includes athletes with comparable activity limitation and an impairment of, but not limited to, limb deficiency, hypertonia, ataxia and or athetosis, impaired muscle power or range of movement.
Moderate degree of activity limitation, Moderate spastic CP, complete brachial-plexus19 on one arm, through
the shoulder amputation, unilateral below knee amputation.
PTS5 - Mild impairments. In both bike and run segments, amputee athletes may use approved prosthesis or
other supportive devices. Includes athletes with comparable activity limitation and an impairment of, but not limited to, limb deficiency, hypertonia, ataxia and or athetosis, impaired muscle power or range of movement.
Mild degree of activity limitation, shortened one arm (from birth), below elbow amputation, below elbow
dysmelia, mild spastic CP, partial brachial-plexus19 on one arm, club foot, through the ankle amputation,
NOTE: All the ambulant classes
(PTS2 - PTS5) will compete in their own medal events.
