About the Event
The Burtuk Half Marathon (First Edition) will be held on 14th February 2026, organised by Ranka Sporting Club with the theme “Run for Love & Life.”
This marathon is a community focused initiative aimed at promoting fitness, unity, and positive lifestyle choices among people of all age groups, especially the youth.
The event is being organised under the direction and guidance of the Honourable Chief Minister and Hon'ble Area MLA, whose support has encouraged us to take this meaningful step towards a healthier society.
Our Purpose
The primary purpose of this marathon is to inspire young people to adopt a healthy and active way of life. In today’s time, many youths are drifting towards drug abuse, excessive mobile use, and isolation. Through this event, we want to encourage them to step out, move their bodies, interact with others, and rediscover the joy of outdoor activities.
This marathon also aims to strengthen community bonding and spread awareness about the importance of physical and mental well-being.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a positive platform where youth can channel their energy into sports, fitness, and social interaction.
We aim to:
Promote regular physical activity and healthy habits.
Encourage youths to stay away from drugs and negative influences.
Reduce overdependence on mobile phones and indoor lifestyles.
Build confidence, discipline, and teamwork through sports.
Foster a sense of unity, love, and responsibility within the community.
Through the Burtuk Heart and Soul Marathon, we aspire to take one strong step towards a healthier, happier, and more connected society.
Registration Fee Details :
(1)21Km RUN With Timing Chip :
(2)10km RUN with Timing chip.
(3) 5km no timing chip
Race Start Time : Updates Soon
Registration Fee : 1000 Rs./ +6% processing fees- for 21 km
Registration Fees- 700rs for 10 KM +6% processing fees
Registration Fees-500rs +6% processing fees for 5 KM Funrun.
Registration Closes on- 31st Jan 2026
Prizes : Cash Prize for Top 3 Winners of all Categories and consolation cash prize as well in each category (Veteran's Category 10k consolation not included)
Rules & Regulations
1.Participants are requested not to litter along the route. Dustbins will be placed at designated points. Let us respect nature and save the environment.
2.All runners will receive a Finisher Medal, Energy Drink, and Refreshments after completing their run.
3.Event photos, race results, and timing certificates will be available for download two days after the event.
Participants will receive the race result website link and photo link on their registered email ID.
4.Runners are requested to run on either side of the road and not in the middle for their own safety.
5.Age eligibility:
A. Minimum 8 years for the 5 km run
