FEROZEPUR HUSSAINIWALA BORDER MARATHON – 2026, Ferozepur

to JCP Hussainiwala, 22 March 2026 (Sunday)

Border Security Force (BSF) is organizing Ferozepur Hussainiwala Border Marathon with theme "Hand in Hand with border population , Fit India Healthy  India" in Ferozepur on March 22nd 2026 (Sunday).

This landmark event aims to promote national unity, fitness and community engagement with border population. It is expected to host over 3,000 to 4,000 runners.

A significant social goal is the inclusion of the local community with approximately 2,000 men and women from the border region are anticipated to participate. This large-scale involvement is key to empowering the border population and encouraging their participation in mainstream Indian Athletes.

This marathon events promotes and adds to FIT INDIA campaign of Govt. of India

Races & Categories (Men & Women)

*  Half Marathon – (Men & Women) (Below & Above 40 years)

*  10 Km Run (Men & Women) (Below & Above 40 years)

*   05 Km – Run for Fun

Note:- Minimum age to participate in above mentioned races will be 18 years.

Route:-

Half Marathon (21.097 Km) Starting point BSF Sector HQ, Satiya Wala, Ferozepur.

10 km Run Starting point Near K V No 2 school Ferozepur Cantt All the races will finish at JCP Hussainiwala.

Cut off Timings:-

Participants who complete the run within Cut off timings as mentioned below will be qualified for finisher medals.

Cut-off Timings

•  Half Marathon: 2.30 Hrs (Men), 3.00 Hrs                              (Women) ( upto 40 years)

                            3.00 Hrs (Men), 3.30 Hrs                            (Women) (Above 40 years)

•  10 Km Run:     1.15 Hrs (Men), 1.30 Hrs                                  (Women) ( upto 40 years)

                            1.30 Hrs (Men), 1.45 Hrs                           (Women) (Above 40 years)

All Participants are required to reach at starting point 1 hr prior to the start time

Dress for races:

T-Shirt, Lower pant/shorts and sports shoes will be mandatory attire for all participants. T-Shirt will be given by the organizers. Temperature ranges from 12 degree C to 21 degree C

Participant will not be allowed to run bare feet.

Entry Fee

•  Half Marathon: ₹500/- (Non-refundable)

•  10 Km Run: ₹200/- (Non-refundable)

Registration is free for force personnel (Defence, CAPF and State Police)

Registration is free for women participants, college students and participants of six bordering Districts of Punjab state i e Pathankot, Gurdaspur,Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur and Fazilka.

Registration will be closed on 16th March 2026

BIBS Collection:

 All registered participants can collect their Bib and T-shirt from BSF Sector Headquarter, Ferozepur from 19th to 21st March 26 between 0930 hr to 1800 Hr.

All participants should carry ID card (Adhaar card/DL/service ID/Student ID while collecting their bibs.

After bib collection participants may witness Retreat ceremony at JCP Hussainiwala from 19th to 21st march 26 as special guest of BSF

Cash Prize/Medals:-

* Cash Prizes for top three winners in each category of Marathons/Run.

* Additionally attractive prizes will be given to the border area population.

* If Participants in Any Race/Category is less than 10, then cash prizes will be redetermined by the organizing committee.

* Any Act of misconduct or wrong doing during the marathon will lead to immediate disqualification.

* In case of any complaint or dispute the matter will be dealt with through a due judicial process and the distribution of             prizes will remain withheld until the final resolution of the complaint.

* Anyone who runs in the wrong category will be disqualified, and the jury will make the final decision in that case.

  All "Qualified Finishers" who will finish the race within cut-off time will be awarded with Finishers Medals.
