Erode Marathon 2024 - 3 Edition

Erode Marathon’s First Season, The premier event of Erode, Powered by Erode Runners, is run by the club. It began in 2016 to raise awareness about running, leading an active lifestyle, and uniting the city behind a common goal. The city is quickly becoming one of the top Tier II cities in India in terms of athletic culture, thanks to a growing population who are turning to fitness activities for an active lifestyle, the city’s sporting infrastructure, and a crop of athletes competing in a variety of sports.

We, Erode Runners Club formed by Dr.Madhushankar,Mr.Krishnamoorthy, and Dr.Arunandhi Chelvan on October 2016 in a vision to encourage the people of Erode to get into endurance sports, basically Marathon. Started with a small group of 10 runners initially and inspired hundreds of runners to take part in marathons across the country. Erode Runners Club now is an active group of 200+ runners doing fitness/running activities as their lifestyle habit. Through our club, we aim to promote a healthy and active lifestyle while fostering lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging.
